TL;DR
I am a year old game/web developer from Poland, with a keen interest in netcode engineering and building platforms and experiences that connect people.
Online I go by the moniker prefetcher, which was selected pretty much at random, but stuck with me ever since. My mascot is Ata, a raccoon-girl, who's also the character everyone is controlling on this page.
I have been programming for as long as I remember, making my first steps around the age of 7/8. My first major project was danger/u/, an anonymous textboard built in 2016 on top of the Sinatra framework in Ruby; inspired by the same-named danger/u/ board from the game VA-11 HALL-A Cyberpunk Bartender Action.
Ever since then I have been involved with a bunch of projects, the most important of which being MicroWorks, a multiplayer party game I've done as part of Agiriko, with noam 2000. I was the lead developer and wrote most of the code. We're currently in the midst of making a new game, for which I've built a bespoke networking solution called Polyrhythm.
Other notable projects I've done include PinkSea, which is an oekaki board built on top of the AT Protocol, which was also my final engineering thesis; or Toki, which was an implementation of the ActivityPub protocol in C#.
Outside working hours, I help organize conventions in Lublin as part of Akira and host LAN parties. We also go all around Poland.
I'm best reachable via:
Other platforms I seldom use:
The Ata model and the nixie tube page view counter for this website were made by noam 2000, please check his work out!!! He's insanely talented.
The furniture is part of the KayKit Furniture pack, worth every penny.
The entire website runs on the Puchitto framework, written by me. I've put a bit too much effort into it.
Here's some of the people who I've either wanted to link back to, or that wanted me to link back to them. I find 88x31's insanely cool, you can actually build a map of the network from just them. If you want me to link back to you, shoot me a message!
